ITR - Intermediate Bulk Container Testing and Repair
If you use UN certified IBCs they must be periodically
tested to retain their certification and legality. The Department
of Transport recognises IBC’s as reusable
packaging that
can remain in service for many years if regularly tested to UN/ADR
requirements. These periodic tests should be carried out every
2.5 and 5
years.
