The Light Duty range of intermediate bulk containers is completely different from Francis Ward's heavy duty, reusable, long life IBCs.
The Light Duty containers have a blow moulded bottle. This means plastic is stretched to form the mould, resulting in built in stresses. This means that long term use is compromised.
However, the process is very quick, providing a cost benefit to customers.
Such containers are ideal when used as a consumable in export, for a one off use or where it is difficult to collect used units.
